Why the detail matters
Most price-guessing games show you a photograph and a town. This one shows the whole listing: four bed, four bath, detached, 3,476 square feet, Massams Lane, Freshfield, Formby, Merseyside — against a six bed, four bath semi-detached of 4,045 square feet in Didsbury, Manchester.
With that much information the question stops being a guess and becomes an actual judgement about regional pricing. You can weigh floor area against location and be right or wrong for reasons you can articulate afterwards, which is more than most of this genre offers.
Two modes
Higher / Lower is the standard comparison. Guess the Price asks for a number instead, which is a materially harder game and the better one once you have played a few rounds.
Both run off the same pool of over 500 real listings, and a history panel records what you saw so you can go back over the rounds you lost.
The data question
The site describes its listings as real and sourced from Rightmove, but publishes no capture date. UK asking prices move continuously and regionally, so a listing pool assembled some months ago will skew against current expectations without saying so.
That is the main thing keeping this below the Property Investments UK version, which does state its comparison window.
Advertising and surroundings
Three ad networks loaded during our check, and the game sits inside a wider quiz site whose navigation offers several unrelated games. Nothing here is deceptive, but it is a busier page than the property entries that outrank it.
